Alastair Crowdy is Managing Director of Newsteer and advises clients on complex planning, development and regeneration projects. He brings extensive experience across mixed-use, residential, build to rent, student and retail-led development, helping public and private sector clients turn ambitious ideas into viable, deliverable strategies.
Alastair is particularly effective where multiple interests, disciplines and commercial considerations need to be brought together. He leads multidisciplinary teams, simplifies complex issues and helps clients align planning strategy, development objectives and stakeholder priorities around a clear route forward.
His experience includes major regeneration and town centre projects, strategic estate development, residential intensification and transport-related regeneration, with projects including Liverpool One, Bath Western Riverside, East Croydon and Kingston. Alastair’s focus is on creating clarity, building consensus and maintaining momentum so that complex projects can move from strategy towards delivery.
