David Slatter is a Director in Newsteer’s Asset and Transaction Advisory team, helping investors, retailers and developers improve asset performance and make confident transaction decisions. He advises across investment, agency, development, lease structuring and asset strategy, with particular expertise in retail and the UK foodstore market.
David has advised leading institutional investors and occupiers including LaSalle Investment Management, M&G, Tesco, Asda and Waitrose. His experience includes M&S lease restructuring, a £400m ground rent investment portfolio of 55 Asda stores for Macquarie Asset Management and retained property advice for Topgolf across the UK and Ireland.
David brings a strong market-facing perspective to every instruction, combining investment insight, lease knowledge and an understanding of how assets operate in practice. He works with clients to identify the commercial opportunity, structure the right approach and move transactions and asset strategies towards delivery.
