Jayne McCarthy is an Associate Director in Newsteer’s Asset and Transaction Advisory team, helping clients make stronger landlord and tenant decisions through accurate lease analysis, market evidence and portfolio insight. She has particular expertise in the foodstore sector, supporting national operators with RPI rent reviews, turnover rent calculations, drivetime isochrones and wider portfolio analysis.
Jayne’s work combines detailed property data with an understanding of how lease mechanisms and local competition affect commercial outcomes. Her experience includes managing Sainsbury’s RPI rent reviews, preparing competition analysis for foodstore portfolios and coordinating rent forecasts to support budgeting and portfolio planning.
She works closely with clients and Newsteer colleagues to make complex lease information easier to interpret and act on. Jayne’s attention to detail helps identify issues early, strengthen negotiation positions and give clients greater confidence in the evidence behind portfolio and lease decisions.
