Jonathan Glaister is a Director in Newsteer’s Development Consultancy team, helping developers and landowners understand the viability and deliverability of major residential-led and mixed-use schemes. He specialises in financial viability, affordable housing and Section 106 matters, using detailed modelling and market evidence to support decision-making through the planning and development process.
Jonathan’s work helps clients test assumptions, understand value implications and navigate negotiations where planning obligations, affordable housing requirements and financial sustainability need to be balanced. His project experience includes major regeneration schemes at The Winstanley Estate, the Alton Estate, Charlton Riverside, Cricklewood and Alperton Manufacturing Estate.
Working closely with planning, development and client teams, Jonathan turns complex appraisal evidence into clear advice on what a project can support and how it can move forward.
