Desiree Coker is a Chartered Town Planner in Newsteer’s Planning team, with a focus on Industrial & Logistics. She helps clients navigate the planning process, developing clear strategies that respond to policy, address constraints and support deliverable development.
Her experience spans projects of different scales and planning contexts, from various London developments to schemes involving Green Belt and Grey Belt considerations. Desiree has worked across the preparation and progression of planning submissions, adapting strategies in response to policy change, pre-application feedback and emerging project requirements.
Desiree combines detailed policy analysis with a practical approach to progressing development. She works closely with clients, consultants and planning authorities to coordinate inputs, resolve issues and maintain momentum, helping turn complex planning requirements into clear next steps.
