With over four years’ experience, George is part of a professional team specialising in compulsory purchase and land assembly. His primary focus covers the negotiation of both live and historic compensation claims on behalf of acquiring authorities and private land owners affected by compulsory purchase. George also has experience of providing development consultancy with a focus on affordable housing, site appraisals and disposal.  

He is currently advising clients on several regeneration and estate renewal schemes including Brent Cross Cricklewood (Hammerson/Aberdeen Standard Investments / LB Barnet and Argent Related), Spray Street Quarter (RB Greenwich, St Modwen and Notting Hill Housing) and the Marlowe Road Estate (LB Waltham Forest & Countryside). 

In addition, George is a well-practiced valuation surveyor having undertaken RICS Red Book compliant valuations, land assembly Property Cost Estimates, Rights to Light compensation assessments, financial viability and development appraisals. 

Highlights

  • Masterplan and viability modelling for Chingford Mount, Leytonstone and Bakers Arms sites on behalf of the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
  • Leading negotiations for the acquisition of over 70 residential interests on the Whitefield Estate as part of the Brent Cross Cricklewood Redevelopment.
  • Valuation and negotiation lead on behalf of London Borough of Lambeth for three Estate Regeneration projects.
  • Negotiating the acquisition of development sites in Hounslow & Brent behalf of Clarion Housing Association and Home Group.
