Jamie Alba-Duignan is a Planner in Newsteer’s Planning team, helping clients shape planning strategies that respond to policy while supporting commercially deliverable development. She works across site promotion, planning applications and stakeholder coordination, supporting projects from early opportunity assessment through to submission and determination.
Her experience spans residential, mixed-use, retail, light industrial and healthcare projects for private developers, national retailers and public sector organisations. Jamie has supported major supermarket operators, residential-led masterplans and regeneration schemes, as well as healthcare projects where estate rationalisation and enabling development need to work alongside service delivery.
Jamie works collaboratively with clients, consultants and colleagues to interpret policy, coordinate technical inputs and keep the planning route clear. Her strength is connecting detailed planning requirements with practical client decisions, helping teams manage constraints, maintain momentum and progress development opportunities with purpose.
