London’s first all electric energy centre, the facility will provide heating, hot water and cooling for 6,700 homes and more than three million sq ft of workspace, retail and leisure space.
The client’s challenge
Related Argent needed to establish a deliverable planning strategy for a large, all electric energy centre within an intensively developed regeneration area. The facility had to integrate with the wider Brent Cross Town masterplan while meeting planning policy, technical requirements and the development’s long term net zero ambitions.
