The Council needed to understand the value of its interests, including potential marriage value, while an investor progressed plans to acquire the Council’s position and redevelop the wider centre.

The advice went beyond a standalone valuation by testing how the Council’s spaces could be improved, repurposed or structured to support its wider regeneration and commercial objectives.
Outcomes and impact
The work is informing negotiations and current proposals for a regeneration scheme including around 1,200 homes, 40,000 sq ft of employment space and 118,000 sq ft of retail space.
