Associate – Asset & Transaction Advisory

London | Full time | Asset & Transaction Advisory

Make an impact

Join our growing Asset & Transaction Advisory team and take a leading role in helping clients make confident property and investment decisions.

Working principally across the retail and leisure sectors, you’ll manage client relationships and transactions from opportunity through to completion — combining market insight, financial analysis and commercial judgement to deliver the right outcome.

It’s a role with real responsibility: managing your own work and relationships, contributing to new opportunities and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work across a varied mix of investment, development and occupational property, including:

  • managing acquisitions and disposals of investments and development sites
  • advising on leasing and letting opportunities
  • managing end-to-end transaction processes
  • preparing investment and development appraisals
  • undertaking cashflow modelling and rental and capital valuations
  • sourcing and assessing new opportunities for clients
  • coordinating due diligence and bringing together the right specialist advice
  • building trusted relationships with clients, agents and other advisers
  • supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an experienced property professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial judgement and the confidence to lead client relationships.

You’ll bring:

  • MRICS qualification and Registered RICS Valuer status
  • at least three years’ commercial property transaction experience
  • strong investment and development appraisal skills
  • confident negotiation and client-facing experience
  • sound knowledge of the commercial property market
  • the ability to think strategically about clients’ wider property needs
  • excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills
  • a collaborative, hands-on approach

You’ll also need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling across the UK when required.

Why Newsteer?

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team where expertise is shared, good ideas are heard and people are trusted to take responsibility.

As Newsteer grows, you’ll have opportunities to develop your own profile, support colleagues and help shape both client work and the wider business.
