Ross leads Newsteer’s asset optimisation work for Asda, providing strategic development and agency advice across its nationwide estate. His work ranges from surplus car park sites with potential for residential, commercial and other uses to the comprehensive redevelopment of existing stores. At Asda Park Royal, he helped shape the development strategy, bring the opportunity to market and identify Barratt London as development partner for a major residential-led regeneration scheme that protects and enhances the retail offer.
His wider experience includes Tesco’s Asset Optimisation programme, where he helped bring a substantial portfolio of development opportunities to market. Working across disciplines, Ross connects operational requirements and planning potential with viable delivery and a transaction strategy the market can respond to. His integrated approach helps clients move from identifying surplus or underperforming land to creating a credible, actionable route to value.
