Jessica Wilson is a Director in Newsteer’s Planning team, helping public and private sector clients navigate complex planning projects from feasibility and inception through to consent, amendments, reserved matters and delivery. She has particular experience across healthcare, residential, mixed-use and infrastructure-related development, where operational requirements and planning constraints often need to be carefully balanced.
Jess advises on brownfield and greenfield sites, planning appeals and CPO-related matters, adapting strategy to the specific opportunities and risks of each project. As Newsteer’s healthcare specialist, recent healthcare work includes the Energy Centre at Whittington Hospital, West Suffolk Hospital and Highgate East at Whittington Hospital, where she led a multidisciplinary team through an application approved unanimously at Planning Committee.
Jess brings a steady, strategic approach to project leadership. She works closely with clients, consultants and stakeholders to coordinate technical inputs, resolve issues and keep planning strategy connected to delivery, giving teams a clearer route through complex consenting processes.
