Paul has over 25 years of planning experience, having worked initially for a private landed estate and then in architectural and multi-disciplinary property companies mainly on retail led and  large-scale urban regeneration and residential projects.

He has contributed to notable developments like New London Bridge House (adjacent to The Shard) and Tesco’s retail portfolio.

Paul’s expertise spans residential, mixed-use, and retail developments, with significant experience in securing consents for complex projects such as  food stores; residential; and mixed use co-location residential and industrial uses; alongside PBSA, BtR, co-libing and affordable housing schemes.

Highlights

  • Secured planning permission for replacement Tesco Extra in Lee Mill, Devon and ensuring continuity of trade and delivery of Teco superstore at Stourport-on-Severn.
  • Secured consent for a 56,000 sqm 19-storey central London office at London Bridge designed by Renzo Piano (architect of The Shard).
  • Advised on over 500 Tesco Express planning applications.
  • Secured uplift of 192 homes on a scheme of 685 homes in Luton through s73 and s96a applications.
  • Currently advising on over 1,000 new homes in LB Ealing, either in current, approved or emerging planning applications
  • Paul has secured numerous planning permissions in Ealing over the years which have secured permission for well over 1,500 new homes along side other uses such as retail and industrial uses.
  • Paul has advised on the strategic growth of a number of sites in Luton, increasing one permission from 685 units (and other uses) over 11-19 storeys to 995 units in blocks extending up to 19, 21 and 23 storeys.
