EPC reassessment, York
We recently conducted a comprehensive reassessment of the Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) ratings for York Biotech Campus. The primary objective was to identify any assets at risk of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), particularly in light of the modifications to the SBEM calculation method implemented in June 2022.
The overarching goal of this exercise was not only to pinpoint vulnerabilities but also devise strategic energy measures that would enhance the EPC ratings and pave the way for the campus to achieve Net Zero status.
