George Meredith is a Director in Newsteer’s Development Consultancy team, helping clients unlock complex regeneration, land assembly and compulsory purchase projects. He advises acquiring authorities, developers and claimants on valuation, compensation, ownership risk, market demand and negotiation strategy, bringing commercial clarity to projects where land and delivery are closely linked.
George has worked on major regeneration and infrastructure schemes across the UK. His experience includes CPO and compensation advice for Woolwich Exchange, valuation and land acquisition on the Gascoigne Estate regeneration in Barking, and negotiation work across more than 100 interests for Lambeth Estates Regeneration.
George combines technical rigour with a pragmatic approach to negotiation. He works closely with clients, legal teams and other specialists to identify risks, build realistic land assembly strategies and secure agreements. His focus is on resolving the property issues that can hold projects back and maintaining momentum towards delivery.
