Newsteer successfully completed the disposal of a significant residential development site for Tesco at their New Malden store.

Newsteer advised and acted on behalf of Tesco in relation to the feasibility, marketing and disposal of their development opportunity at their Clapham South store.

• The sale is part of Tesco’s wider Property Asset Optimisation Initiative in which Newsteer are prominent in providing development/ feasibility advice along with delivering these opportunities to market.
• Landhold successfully secured a planning consent for 36 homes and 35% affordable housing.
• In support of the disposal Newsteer provided planning advice to Tesco in relation to the proposed scheme and the reconfiguration of their car park to vary and amend planning conditions to allow the store car park to be operational throughout future works.
