When Crosta Mollica, Europe’s most exciting pizza brand, needed a new London office to match its rapid expansion, CEO Tom Sirett turned to Newsteer’s Occupier Advisory team. Having worked with David Felman across several businesses, Tom knew what to expect: a partner who would listen, challenge and deliver the right outcome.

Why a new office mattered

For Crosta Mollica, rapid growth has brought new priorities. “We’d expanded the team, but our old office wasn’t fit for purpose anymore,” explains Tom. “We wanted to be in the heart of central London in a space that reflected our brand and values – somewhere our people would feel valued and at home, and a place that would spark collaboration as we continue our growth story.”

A trusted partnership

Tom turned to Newsteer after a long working relationship with Occupier Advisory Director, David Felman. “David has delivered for me time and again across different businesses, so when it came to finding Crosta Mollica’s new home, there was no question who to call,” he says.

Expertise that shapes decisions

From the outset, the Newsteer team brought clarity to a complex brief. “They listened carefully, challenged our assumptions, and gave us options that made us refine what we really wanted. What made the process seamless was the team’s ability to bring multidisciplinary expertise into play – from search and acquisition through to contracts, listed building matters and fit out – giving us joined-up, high-quality advice at every step. When the right space came up, they helped us secure it in a competitive and complex situation.”

More than advice – real solutions

What stood out was Newsteer’s ability to think beyond the obvious. “They showed us how certain office layouts could be reimagined to make the space work for us. At the location we eventually chose – Palladium House on Argyll Street – their space management ideas made all the difference, opening our eyes to possibilities we wouldn’t have seen on our own.”

Challenging assumptions

Tom is clear that Newsteer’s willingness to challenge was key. “The office we eventually secured was one we might have overlooked – but Newsteer challenged our thinking, refined our brief and showed us how it could be exactly what we needed.”

A result to be proud of

The outcome was exactly what Crosta Mollica wanted and needed: a central London office that not only supports the team’s commutes but also strengthens the company’s ability to attract top talent. “Newsteer gave us the confidence to make bold decisions, backed by expert advice on planning, build costs and market benchmarks,” Tom shared.

Delivering more than expected

For Tom, it’s the partnership that stands out. “David and the Newsteer team were always available – whatever the time of day or week. They were more than advisors; they were true partners in the process.”

What sets Newsteer apart?

If asked to describe Newsteer’s difference, Tom is clear: “They really listen. Their advice is tailored, their visibility of the London market is unmatched, and they care about getting the best outcome for the client. That’s rare – and that’s why we chose them.”
