• Having secured planning permission and listed building consent for the new mental health inpatient unit (Highgate West) adjacent to the listed Jenner Building on the Whittington Hospital Campus, Newsteer is now working closely with the Trust and contractor in the delivery stages, discharging planning conditions and advising on amendment applications in the context of a heavily constrained site.
• Newsteer is also advising on a new Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service unit which is due to be relocated from the St Pancras Hospital Site to the existing Highgate Mental Health Centre.
• Having secured full planning permission for the new building, Newsteer now advise on the delivery stages including the discharge of planning conditions. The MHCAS service has recently been received an award for Excellence in Mental Health at the UK Parliamentary Awards.
