Park Royal, North West London
Client: Asda
Newsteer is advising Asda on the landmark redevelopment of its Park Royal site in partnership with Barratt London – its first major residential-led regeneration scheme. The proposals include a new 60,000 sq. ft flagship Asda Superstore and around 1,500 new homes, with approximately 500 delivered as affordable housing. The project will create a vibrant new town centre for the local community and represents one of the largest land deals in recent years.
Our role includes development and feasibility advisory, strategic planning advice, site promotion, and helping shape a viable, community-focused scheme that balances commercial objectives with long-term placemaking.
“Retailers such as Asda at Park Royal provide great opportunities to utilise brownfield sites and deliver much needed housing for people living in the capital. At Newsteer, we are actively advising on similar opportunities with the potential to deliver around 12,000 homes. The key to unlocking these sites is about protecting and enhancing the retail offer while balancing the viability.”
