Newsteer is pleased to have been part of the project team for London Borough of Waltham Forest’s former Wood Street Library. The site recently gained LPA planning approval for a ‘Families and Homes Hub’ for the community as well as 67 flats in the upper floors. The residential element will be delivered as 50% affordable homes, prioritised for the local community.

Newsteer provided both ongoing Development Consultancy advice on the scheme throughout the design progression, as well as undertaking a Financial Viability Assessment for the planning submission.
