Gillian Cooper has today joined our Planning Team at Newsteer to work alongside Alastair Crowdy, David Brown, Paul Manning, Jessica Wilson, Rachel Mengham, Gabriella Brown and Lee-Ann Casbard.

Gillian brings experience in the planning field from time spent most recently at Croydon Council and in the private sector and will be working on a wide range of instructions across the residential, health, retail and commercial sectors. On joining Newsteer Gillian said “I’m excited to add my experience to such a talented team, which takes pride in their people and the projects they work on.”

As well as managing a planning career Gillian is a highly proficient rower and is seeking to compete at Henley Royal Regatta this year, following the setting of a first half course record at the regatta in 2019 and bronze medals at both the U23 World Championships and University World Championships in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
