We work closely with our Lease Advisory and Transactional Services and Planning teams identify opportunities to help our clients’ deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions, maximising the value and operational effectiveness of their real estate assets.

Our agents are experienced at providing advice on acquisitions and disposals, as well as identifying unique opportunities which meet our clients’ requirements including purchase of development opportunities, and the creation of Joint Venture Partnerships.

We work alongside our colleagues in Planning and Lease Advisory and Transactional Services teams to carry out options appraisals which consider the best strategy for existing assets and client portfolios.

We have experience providing development appraisal and valuation advice in relation to strategic masterplanning exercises.

We are equipped with the knowledge, skills and experience to take a site from the inception stage right through to securing a successful planning consent.

Our team has significant client side experience through some high profile Development Management secondments; carrying out strategic feasibility work; appointing and managing design teams; and securing planning permissions.

We realise the importance of our clients’ key objectives and as Development Manager take on responsibility for optimising schemes and delivering high quality housing whilst managing returns.

Our Financial Viability experts have a wealth of experience leading complex negotiations on behalf of high profile clients across a range of sectors.

We respond to changing planning and development policy, as well as changing markets in order to advise on and help deliver high profile, complex residential–led and mixed-use developments.

We are at the forefront of advising on financial viability negotiations in relation to a number of emerging sectors including Build To Rent and Retirement Housing.

We also provide advice in conjunction with our Affordable Housing Specialist in relation to income threshold testing; the drafting of S106 Review Mechanisms; as well as carrying out viability review calculations.

We advise on a variety of master planning exercises in conjunction with the Planning and Regeneration & CPO teams to enable regeneration.

We assist on the preparation of masterplans, feasibility and capacity studies, working with architects, urban designers and masterplan teams to develop realisable and robust plans.

Our Development Consultancy team has four RICS Registered Valuers who are able to provide RICS Red Book Valuations and valuation advice with the benefit of input from our Planning, Affordable Housing, CPO and Agency experts to ensure that advice is measured and truly reflective of current market and policy conditions.
